Being old enough to remember Capote's appearances on TV, I was really impressed by Philip Seymour Hoffman's performance. I can also remember when In Cold Blood was THE book to read, although strangely, I have never read it.
Maybe it's a sign of age, but I like seeing "period" movies that depict events during my lifetime.
