Day one he didn't care about killing destroying people with his extra pure meth.
Great acting on the show.
BTW I don't agree that the theme is that our bad health care system drove him to do what he did. If he lived in a single payer country, he may or may not have been part of an obscure medical trial with an excellent doctor. Not everyone in the state can see the best doctor in the state.
