In reply to the discussion: My beloved cat died this afternoon [View all]Fla Dem
(27,653 posts)79. Feel so sad for you, my cat is nowhere as social as yours, but I will be bereft when that day comes.
I never had a pet because of allergies until I found my baby girl collapsed on my driveway from dehydration. She was only about 6 weeks old and now she is 8. I endure my allergies and asthma because I cannot imagine my house without her. She is my Pal and my little girl. You gave Stewie love and happiness all the days of his life. He was a lucky boy, and he knew he was loved. That is all we can do for our furry children and then remember them forever.

I'm really sorry. If he is your only pet, I learned a lesson when my buddy died years ago.
