Once again, I am asking for the wisdom of DUers in career matters [View all]

A while ago, I applied for a position at Amazon. Had a phone interview which went great. It was a generic behavioral interview. A week later, I was contacted to schedule another interview. That interview - technical in nature - didn't go so well. I was really down with a cold and was trying to sound at my best. Honestly, I think I bombed that one.

This was way back over a month ago. I keep checking the status of my application and it still says 'under review.' I emailed the recruiter with whom I coordinated the last phone interview to ask her if anything was amiss. She said (just last week) that she has not yet received any follow up from the hiring team.

Anyway, how long do I realistically give Amazon to get back to me (one way or the other)? I am pursuing a bunch of other stuff (though my first impression is that employers surely are taking a LOOOOOOOONG time to return any calls and/or provide feedback), but Amazon is certainly on my short list of 'wants.'

Everyday, the status is still the same 'under review.' One possibility is that they are no longer sure about filling the position or needing the position (there is another person in the same position now, the same one I spoke with when I bombed .

Oh, wise DUers, any ideas? Should I just withdraw from consideration altogether?
