21. Hell no....I bet your reply has a better chance of being seen for a couple of reasons.

1)More people click on bigger threads to see what the fuss is about.

2)People are egotistical...they want to check if anyone responded to them. The bigger the thread, the more egos, the more people will check the thread, the better your chance of being read.

3) The bigger the thread, the greater the chance of a stupid controversy. Even an innocuous statement may start a flame. Posting something small in a big thread, you'll have a better chance of starting a flame war and getting your stuff read.

4) Truth be told, unless the topic is really interesting, I don't usually click on smaller threads. A fire by the comment means I'm totally checking it out, even if it's a topic I'm not interested in.

5)Bigger thread, more rec, better chance at greatest threads, better chance the thread will be exposed to more people, better chance of your comment being read and responded too.
