Many years ago, I took a computer language and statistics class, required for a B.A. There was an apocryphal story of a couple of young women who memorialized their struggles with COBOL in a poem entitled "Love is a Nested Do-Loop." I know nothing of the poem, and less of the women who wrote it, but the title remains in my heart.
