(my wife has to pretty regularly take Ritz away from me before I eat the whole tube)
Everyone not his sons called him Butch but I don't know why. There's nothing in any of our names (I was named after him and Grandpa - dad was Jr, I was the III and my daughter would have been the IV but my wife put her foot down. Not my fault she was a girl.) that is even close. It's a nickname he picked up as a kid and he kept it all his life.
