The first one** was completely anonymous and unexpected -- so, to whoever gave it to me -- THANK YOU! It means way more than you probably realized.

I'm alone this Valentine's day -- actually, I'm usually alone and it's never fun, but this one hurts more than most. I had someone in my life (for almost a year) until 5 days ago. He is celebrating Valentine's with the woman he dumped me for, and I'm at work, trying not to cry, and feeling more than a tad lonely & unloved / unlovable at the moment. I knew today was going to be hard, but F***!

So, thanks again. You brought a smile to my face when I needed it most, and I will always be grateful.
