I've been watching them since they were playing bars in the Dallas area back in the mid-late 80s...never boring. We are a musically inclined family...It's fun to pound away on my bass...I don't read music but I know my strings, and honestly it's the best form of stress relief IMHO. I'm happy to say my bass playing got my son into the production/mixing side of it. He also writes lyrics, raps and works as a nightclub DJ (his spins are all computer controlled and sampled...no wax destruction or auto tune!)...my brother is a pretty good guitarist, and i have a stepson and nephew who are bassists...stepson can play 5 instruments and compose as well. Very talented young man.
