6. My ceiling fan stays on all night all year long

When I had my house built, I had the builder delete all the standard bedroom fans so I could install better ones myself. The ones I installed are more efficient, move more air, and are made to last for decades. My kids are the same way too. I suppose it's because I'm pretty frugal with the AC in the summers, especially at night thanks to programmable thermostats.
