8. I worked for a company that had beer in one of the vending machines too.

This was a manufacturer of fire trucks. One of the 3 soda machines was all beer, no matter which button you pushed for $.25 each. When the end of shift came along, you could drop a quarter or two and have a beer before you left.

When the salesmen would make a big sale, they would dump 3 or 4 rolls of quarters on the table in front of the machine at the end of the day!

This was 1977/early 78, but even back then you couldn't buy a 6 pack for $1.50
