Not too surprising, because as Peggy said, beautiful coastal areas are desirable, therefore expensive,
therefore they draw...Republicans.

I guess in one way, hurricanes are "less bad" than tornadoes, because you've got more advance warning.
You know for days that a hurricane is approaching. You don't have that warning with tornadoes.
