living in republican central Nassau County Long Island as kid, I first heard this album at my sisters apt when she was living in Queens.

I had no idea music could sound like this.

I was 15.

I was stuck in top 40 limbo.

within a year I was a proto-punk, within 2 years I was a hardcore punk.

I never looked back.
