(46,436 posts)57. My stepmother interviewed my grandparents before their deaths
and gave all of us a transcription. It's really fun to read. They passed away probably 25 years ago now.
I also have a collection of letters that my father's mother wrote when my dad was a child, which would have been in the very early 1920s.
I would like a chance to memorialize some of my own stories before I leave, but I think I've got some time. I've had a pretty adventurous life.

My grandfather was president of a small town bank during the '29 stock market crash.

My dad was a big kid, and faked his birth certificate somehow and got his driver's license
