Voted for Obama. County Commissioners - 4 dems, 1 unaffiliated. 0 republicans.

However heavy incumbency support (like most places I suppose).

Another reason for me to *love* Ocracoke.

I suppose beautiful coastal areas have Democrats living in them too.

ps if i had the money and i could get a decent internet connection there then I could move...
