We live in a beautiful coastal area in Maine and people are pretty cool. Yes, there are rednecks (especially the more north one travels) However when when the big boys came and tried to sell our little town of 42 Islands on LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), everyone came out the woodwork, voted them down and sent them packing! Made me proud of my community. As far as flooding and evacuation, nothing yet.
