In reply to the discussion: Ask Me How Proud I Am Of My Beautiful Daughter. [View all]AnneD
(15,774 posts)68. The secret to a successful Nursing career....
coffee before the shift, alcohol after. That and some tight buds. I am retiring from school Nursing after 25 years. I am thinking of going back into hospital as I am not yet 60. I will work 5 more years then will hang up my cocs for good. I had my daughter while in the middle of Nursing school and divorced her dad a few years after. Nursing allowed me the best of both worlds. I was at my daughters functions when she needed me and was able to give her advantages I didn't have.
