4. I'll admit this particular video is not riveting.

But the concept is fine. Lots of manufacturer's used to include video in their commercials of an appliance with a clear wall so you could see it in operation, dishwashers included. I find it informative. From this video I would be very conscious of how flimsy that center spray nozzle is in a dishwasher I was considering purchasing.

I like the commercials for motor oil that show how an engine works and where possible friction could occur. I may never need any of that superficial level knowledge but it gives me a basic starting point when considering maintenance.
