I don't know why these adorable little shits hold so much power over me. I've been a sucker for them as far back as I can remember. We don't have any human kids so our kitty love is that much deeper; they're our own flesh and blood.
I wish I was a good enough Dad to keep these babies healthy forever, but I can't. We just lost our oldest boy, it really kicked my insides out. He died in my arms. It was rough.
When I see a little guy like Critter I sort of moosh up inside. I think it's the combination of innocence and cuteness that gets me. I've seen homeless kitties all over the world; I wish I could save Every.Last.One.Of.Them.
Thanks for the compliment, I'll be sure and rub that in with my wife.
