I love that they are cheap, and that I am not fueling a consumer frenzy. And when the fashions change to things like ruffles or other styles that are not flattering, I can still find clothes that don't look ridiculous on me.

But what I like best is that I can see how the item holds up to washing and wear. I have been burned by that cute sweater that instantly pills all over or the shirt that loses it's shape with the first washing. Or worst of all, the blouse that needs ironed or is wrinkled within a minute of wearing it.
