When Lite first came down the pike, an old man sneered that it was water, was for sissies (his word), that three "real" beers (full bodied) would get you drunk and savoring conversation over a three hour span. Well, his point was that the beer manufacturers WANTED to sell you 14 instead of 3.

Fine. And well meaning, clueless abstinarians ask why not drink liquor so as not to pack on pounds. Well, because 4 hours is a wonderful span, and liquor puts you away in 45 minutes.
