the version performed during their 1997 tour, "The Dance".

As a hardcore fan, I have the DVD - and have watched it/ listened to it the usual two or three hundred times - so far.

The tour included their classic tunes, some of which had been given a new treatment; e.g. Lindsay Buckingham performs "Big Love" alone on guitar, and "Say That You Love Me" has an almost 50s feel to it.

Most of the songs are performed "true" to the original recordings, but variations - some slight, some more pronounced - are abundant.

I've often heard versions of their songs from "The Dance" on radio. As I've said, I've heard these versions so many times, I can immediately distinguish them from the original recordings.

If you're a fan, I would highly recommend "The Dance" on DVD. It's one of my all-time listening/watching faves.
