9. I heard it's been since 1989 since Streep has won Oscar. It's her time, then.

It's shocking that it has been that long since she's won. She is hands down the best and most diverse actress in the world right now, and maybe ever.

Viola Davis really hasn't been in many things, has she? But I didn't see The Help, so maybe that was a hands down awesome performance, where she was out of her element and playing against type and such.

Christopher Plummer - I didn't see his movie. But I do know he is an amazing actor.

I read that the Artist is the type of movie that wins a lot at the Oscars - it's about THEMSELVES (actors) and their business, and it's about an AGING WHITE MALE (another favorite at the Oscars, since so many aging white male actors relate to it), and it was so different for this day and age. I didn't see that one either, though!
