I'm apprehensive, to put it mildly. He just turned 21. This young woman broke his heart a few years ago, then a few months later she moved to MI. Somehow they rekindled things across the miles. He spent a week in MI in November. She just spent a week with him in CA, and a few days later he bought a one-way ticket.

What he bought it with, I don't know. He's never worked. He's not a deadbeat; he looks diligently and can't buy a job. I have heard that the economy in MI is tougher.

This sucks.
