127. Sitting in a suburban Chicago hotel room, ugh!

I want my Boston back!!!

It already started out wrong. As I was checking in, I noticed the woman at the reception had a weird name tag. I asked her where she was from, and she said Bosnia. I started speaking to her in Serbo-Croatian, and she was all smiles. I went over to work, and my wife stayed in the room. A knock came at the door, and my wife answered it. The Bosnian woman had sent up a bottle of wine and a fruit basket in appreciation for knowing about Bosnia and speaking their language. My wife had no idea what was going on, as she had not paid attention to the check-in process, and sent the room service page away angrily, thinking a prostitution ring was canvassing the hotel rooms looking for business!!!

We straightened it out, and everyone's fine, but I would have liked the fruit basket and the hot chocolate chip cookies!!
