40. Nah. I gave up on Firefox a few versions ago when...

it became bloated beyond hope. I had some neat extensions that I miss for research, but there was little it did that other browsers didn't and not worth the hassle. And most of the common extensions people get are already built into other browsers and give you grief with the (apparently) weekly upgrades.

The truth the peanut gallery doesn't want you to hear is that IE 8 and 9 are actually pretty good browsers and not significantly less secure than anything else. I think it was the dreadful IE 6 that got everyone looking elsewhere, but that shouldn't count any more. I don't use them much because I'm kinda stuck on Opera, but when I do use them they work very well.

I still use Opera as my favorite mainly because I've been using it since I gave up Netscape (a long time ago) and it does pretty much everything I need in a browser, so I see no need to change. I wish more people would use it, though, to help keep it around.

I keep Chrome around because it handles some iffy code that Opera hates and the basic interface is the cleanest of them all, but I never trusted Google enough to want to do real work with it. Tried Safari for a bit, but there was nothing special there.
