First, wouldn't you be happier if you paid more for phone service? What about the joy of charging up more often? And then there's the several year long learning curve. There's the chance to kill yourself and some other people while texting. You need all the nearly useless apps that require constant updating. You can give up all your friends and relations to revel in oneness with your phone.
In a pinch you can use it to cover the hole in your head which also comes in handy.
