18. Recycling cloth stuff- where do you take it?

I used to think Goodwill sorted out and sent unsaleable stuff to a recycle place which chopped up clothing and other cloth stuff for use as insulation, car trunk lining pads, etc. Then a long time ago someone on DU said she worked at a Goodwill, or a similar place where people donate stuff, and said, "Please don't donate worn out stuff with holes, etc." I know some people buy new jeans with worn spots and rips, but I feel bad donating ratty stuff as if someone would buy it.

When I look at clothes in stores sometimes I find things that have come back in style after twenty or thirty years, and I still have the original .
