Maybe it wasn’t a crush, but I was fascinated by him. I don’t know the name of the movie or what it was about, but he played Ruth Roman’s husband in it. Her lover didn’t know she was married and asked Lee J. Cobb, whom he thought was her father, for her hand in marriage. Lee J. said, “She’s not my daughter! She’s my wife!” (((echo echo echo))) I thought Lee J. Cobb was way more attractive than her lover.
