Here's a moose among some birch trees. A young male and another female were on the other side of the trail, but I couldn't get a good shot because they were behind the trees.

This is the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail where we walk our dog. It's about a mile from where I live.

This is Eklutna Lake on a foggy morning.

For some reason, they call this Reflections Lake.
This and Eklutna Lake are just north of Anchorage a little bit.


And here is a great sunset from a few nights ago. This is the Campbell Creek Estuary, one of Anchorage's newest parks. For the sake of the wildlife, it's to be seen but not walked upon, so they have built observation decks above the estuary and don't allow dogs anywhere in the park.
