12. Didn't sleep very well, but...

...I woke up with a clear head and a mental list of what needs to get done. Packing, mostly. Have to tell my boss I'm leaving, today. It's going to really suck. I'm exhausted, excited, terrified and a little numb. I'm so tired.

My son wants to fly out and then drive back with me. That's actually a damned good idea. My eyes are really bad. Driving crosscountry, alone, would be tough. So, add to my list...cheap flights from KCMO to PHX.

Did I mention how tired I am. Yeah.

It could have been worse. I could have been lonely. The outpouring of support has helped so much.
