3. I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Elliott for years.

He was a customer at the book store I used to work in. At first I was completely in awe of him--he was BOB of Bob & Ray. Over the years I grew comfortable enough to start telling HIM jokes--one was the brazillion one, I believe.
In 2008 the store closed & I lost my job. My phone rang one afternoon & it was him. He called to wish me well. A couple of years ago he sent me a little note. He is truly a nice man.
