10. The Walking Dead world (TWD) it's a different world from ours.

They have no zombie fiction or zombie mythos to draw knowledge from. It's a totally new experience for them and it makes the entire catastrophe true horror because it's an unknown phenomena. There is no history, cinematic or otherwise at all in the TWD world. None, zip, nada.

Therefore, the word itself, "zombie" does/could not exist in THD. See?
