One year when my daughter was very young, one of our kitties gave birth to six in early Fall, so when Hanukkah rolled around, my little one insisted that our eight cats do the honors of the lighting. She became very involved in that schedule, made a chart so that each kitten would be sure to have their turn, and we almost set the house on fire, twice. It was so sweet, tho. My old Nicky kitty burned his whiskers off that week...was always fascinated by candles and we never could leave them unguarded for the seventeen years of his life.

Is that your fur baby who passed away? That is a beautiful moment.
