My Frankie has the same issue. When he came home from the vet, out local pet store recommended this cranberry powder to mix in the can food. It raises his pH level, thus discouraging the formation of crystals in the bladder. Vet approved.

Seems to be working quite well in our case. Another tool in the box for the OP. Best of luck!
