I should mention captains typically HATE pirate jokes on a ship. I didn't really understand the consequences until...

I wasn't on that one, but have been close to hostile areas.
Fortunately my next excursions will be near Alaska (I should be able to see Russia from my deck though) and Northern Canada.

with that said, I still enjoy them, but save them for the landlubbers.
