Each year, the Pats are guaranteed 5 to 6 wins in their division which allows them to develop their team. It's like having 6 extra preseason games every year.

All of the other teams in the AFC have difficult divisions to win. They have to play their best throughout the season which wears them down.

Not the Pats. They can play like crap and still beat the Jets, Bills, and Dolphins every year.
