long time lurker, occasional poster.

Grew up in the 70's, always have been liberal, try to live by the motto "love is the assignment, not the answer" MLK, somedays are easier than others. Mid 50's but trying to still grow.

Being a 70's rocker chick at heart, I love music, and my user name was taken from this song

one of my all time favorite bands that never quite got the love and attention they deserved.

Musically, am IN LOVE with the new folk and roots rock music now, and it's been a while for me with new music, so thats a good thing.

Married with one daughter, who used to post here many moons ago under the name mini manda. I think the lessons she learned here have served her well, now, at 20, she is very involved with the occupy movement.

Love to garden and sew. And the NFL and MLB. DU has always felt like a home to me.
