13. I can't and won't insist the two are the same guy, but

Looking at the 2 pictures together, and trying to imagine the top one without the conductor hat and the bottom one WITH the hat, they look a lot like they could be same guy, to me.

Didn't save the links, but I Googled around and saw a site listing Rufe Davis as appearing on an episode of Columbo, without saying which. Or when. And another site, supposedly listing everyone who appeared, whether credited or not. Rufe Davis was not on the list, though Valerie Harper was, with one appearance in 1972, which I believe is also the year Mr. Davis passed on.

Anyway, that's all I've got. Sorry.

ETA: Mr. Davis passed away in 1974. Not 1972.
Also the site I saw listing him as appearing on Columbo is "Pinterest", which won't let me in without registering, but shows his name in the "Google tease" for the site.
