How did you meet your SO? (Significant Other)

13. We met online, by pure "co-incidence"...way back in '98

I was in the South, he was in San Francisco.
I had bought my first computer 6 mos before we met.

His niece had been pushing him to try out one of the online sites where you could play card games.
My son had been pushing me to do the same thing at the same site.
We met while playing cards online, chatted for a couple of weeks, telephone calls followed.

3 months later I flew out to San Francisco on my vacation, we met in person.
My friends were shocked, because back ithen online dating was not well known in this rural area.

I figured the worst that could happen would be a memorable trip to SF.

He said he fell in love with my mind.
I liked his easy laughter and think his beard is sexy, plus he is smart as hell,
and I can never predict what he will say next.

That was 13 years ago.
Now we both are happily retired and living here in the South.
He still makes me laugh, and we have never ever been bored with each other.
