during a long layover. The benches seem to be purposely made uncomfortable.

I once missed a flight to London due to a late connection and had to stay overnight. I was booked into an awful motel in the middle of nowhere, with literally nothing on the TV but Fox News and sports (apparently only conservative men stayed there). No point in sticking around, so I went back to the airport and sat around from 10:00AM to 4:00.

Talk about long days, sitting on benches with little back support.
