We were worried when she was pregnant that there may be an incident, but nothing happened.

I have lots of stories also. Never got in the car but....
When my wife nearly died and I had 2 baby girls on my hands, I was stressed. Wife was in intensive care, kids with Grandma for some of the time.
I went to bed every night @10 and who knows where I would wake up? One night in the tub (no water) one night in the basement, one night outside, one night in the attic, one night on the stairs, one night on the porch, one night in the kitchen. One night the neighbor kid said he saw me bend a street sign @4AM. I can't verify, but the sign was bent.

But I never missed work and visited my wife nightly. And the only memory I have is where I woke up, not how I got there. I started every night in bed.

Many years later I was helping with a computer upgrade from home overnight, when the younger daughter came downstairs @2AM. We talked for about 15 minutes before I realized she was totally asleep.
