It hasn't been all that long and all ready you are walking!
Four years ago (next week) I had my ankle totally replaced. After the surgery, I couldn't put any weight on it for three months and then it hurt so very bad. I thought it would never be okay. But it's great and I'm so thankful to my surgeon. I could not walk on my old ankle anymore...my insurance turned me down and called the surgery "experimental". My surgeon had to fight for me and we won.
