24. My name is Hunter. I don't need to take a quiz.

My parents are among those who built the foundations of "hippie" in the later 'fifties, and so I was named Hunter.

What am I hunting for?

Peace and Truth, I suppose, although that's a hell of a burden to put on a little kid, especially a little kid who is autistic spectrum weird, and called "queerbait" until he quits high school.

My parents are retired and they live in a tropical rain forest, drinking and bathing in water that falls on their roof and buying local food in their local farmers' markets. This civilization could die tomorrow and they'd see it as the larger internet going down. Their local IT guy is pretty resourceful, he'd keep the local network up.

I haven't visited my parents' tropical paradise yet, but it's quite possible I'll tell the "real world" to go fuck itself one of these days and sail away.

For now, I'm pinned down by my hopes and a few obligations I feel to others.
