It calls for habeneros, as well as jalepenos and cerranos. Plus several different chile powders. It makes a thick dark red sauce.
Cooks all day with 3/8 inch diced beef or pork roast. The cooking leaves the flavor buts takes the sting out of the heat.
It's still quite hot. Serve over beans or posole or scrambled eggs or with chips or...
Once, while dicing the peppers I had to pee. I neglected to wash my hands first. An interesting sensation.
I had to give up tequila....
