the whole thing in one big mp3...

get a (free still? maybe) program called mp3trim to cut it up into separate tracks.

The point of using mp3trim is that it edits the file directly without decompressing to .wav and then recompressing back to mp3. Othereise, every time you decompress and recompress an mp3 you get generational sound quality loss. Like when we used to make a tape of a tape of a tape of a tape...except it only takes a couple times for it to become unlistenable...
