(33,688 posts)13. Elevator/escalator/sidewalk etiquette, or lack thereof, irritates me greatly.
Some bullet points:
Do NOT charge into an elevator like a stampeding wildebeest the minute the doors open. Just maybe people will be wanting to get out.
Do NOT stop immediately after stepping off an escalator to look at your damned phone. There are people BEHIND you on said escalator who need to get off.
Do NOT walk down crowded streets with your eyes welded to your phone. There is nothing so important that it won't wait until you step off to the side, out of the main stream of foot traffic.
Pay some goddamn attention to your surroundings and remember that there are people around you. You are NOT the center of the #$%^ing universe.
