22. Easy one: Leo Kottke

I heard his "Armadillo" album at 19, and it changed my outlook on music forever. I spent thousands
of hours trying to figure out how he did what he did, and went out to Escondido, California, to meet
the guy who made his guitars at the time, and get him to make me some as well. I've still never met
Leo, but Božo Podunavac has been a friend for 30 years now.

What Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix have been to the electric 6 string guitar, Leo Kottke is to the
acoustic 12 string guitar.
