But let's face it, some reptiles are downright dangerous. Komodo dragons, Gila monsters, rattlesnakes, copperheads, water moccasins, coral snakes, bushmasters, fer-de-lances, asps, boa constrictors, pythons, alligators, crocodiles, caimans, snapping turtles, all can present a significant danger to humans. And most snakes' heads are just plain grotesque.
