took over the music industry we've been inundated with nothing but talentless screechers who've not spent one second studying their art. Why should they? They can glam up, shimmy around the stage and have autotune to cover the fact that they couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.

And then every once in awhile, very rarely, someone like this comes along. I'm a retired vocalist who studied and sang for many years and I detest 99.999% of the dreck coming out with automation being substituted for actual ability and artistry.

Her phrasing is impeccable. Her use of dynamics, LIMITED USE of ornamentation adding just the right amount of depth and spice. I was one of the unfortunate ones who didn't discover her until after her untimely death.

You're right. This is much better than the original. Jesus, what a talent!
